Gauge board found under the western side of the bridge on the ocean side.
The gauge board can be read from the footpath located on the western side of the estuary.

This site is located in the township of Lorne. A caravan park joins the eastern side of the river, and a thin strip of riparian vegetation makes up the western bank.
