Notes

Black winged stilts, pelicans, moorhens, pacific black ducks, corellas, greater cormorants, little black cormorants, swallows, white ibis, purple swamphens, chestnut teals.

 

Great testing everyone, and a VERY interesting WQ profile…  The system is heavily stratified due to ongoing dry conditions and low inflow, the deeper layer is very salty and devoid of sufficient D.O., while very high D.O. and Turbidity levels in the upper column strongly suggest an algal bloom.  I will investigate further and continue to monitor - J.Obst.
