Notes

  • Discharge out around mouth but difficult to tell exactly where because of rough sea & large amount of foam
  • Flow out only between rocks & cliff face (sand build up on east side)
  • Beach wide & horse shoe shaped - higher at east end
  • Sandbar still uncovered despite hi tide (0.82)
  • Large no. broken shells in swash line midway along low track (east side of estuary
