Notes
- Waves over high sand build up at mouth & upstream rocks -No fresh water (dark) discharge but some salt return
- Rough sea impacting on high sand east of entrance then travelling west entering channel with occaisional small waves into estuary
- Strong longshore drift
- Salt water about 50m upstream rocks
- Waves in all directions causing whirlpool around & upstream rocks
- Water has been very high in estuary at last hi tide
- Dead petrel east side of channel, 7 Silver gulls & many Coots in estuary
