Notes

The water was much clearer than in previous visits.

We retook the bottom sample to ensure that no sediment was scraped from the bottom during collection. Usually the water is too murky to see when we are close to the bottom and our method for collecting the sample does not ensure that we are not scraping sediment from the bottom. This in turn influences turbidity readings at this site.
